Sedgwick’s Bermuda Office Named Claim Contact for Bowring Marsh Facility

Sedgwick’s associated Bermuda office, Sedgwick Chudleigh, has been named point of claims contact on an excess liability facility formed by Bowring Marsh, the international specialist broker at Marsh Inc. The facility, known as Bowring Marsh Excess (BMEx), provides up to $100 million in syndicated cover for all industry classes with capacity provided by Endurance Specialty Insurance, Max Bermuda and Chubb Atlantic Indemnity. Mark Chudleigh, managing partner of Sedgwick Bermuda said, “This is a first for Bermuda and the introduction of syndicated insurance arrangements marks a new chapter in the history of Bermuda’s insurance market. We are delighted to be associated with this innovative program”.
