Biography
Julie Tracy is a member of both the Healthcare and Appellate practice groups at Sedgwick. Since 2000, Ms. Tracy has concentrated her practice on representing the interests of healthcare service plans in state and federal court. In addition to her considerable experience at the trial and appellate court levels, she has represented healthcare clients in administrative proceedings before federal agencies. Ms. Tracy has also represented insurers in coverage issues, bad faith litigation, and matters arising under ERISA.
Julie Tracy is a member of both the Healthcare and Appellate practice groups at Sedgwick. Since 2000, Ms. Tracy has concentrated her practice on representing the interests of healthcare service plans in state and federal court. In addition to her considerable experience at the trial and appellate court levels, she has represented healthcare clients in administrative proceedings before federal agencies. Ms. Tracy has also represented insurers in coverage issues, bad faith litigation, and matters arising under ERISA.
Beyond her extensive healthcare and insurance background, Ms. Tracy has experience in products liability, complex business litigation, wage and hour class action litigation, and employment litigation. She also gained trial and appellate practice experience in law school through her clerkships with the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office and the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. Prior to law school, she enjoyed a six-year career as a paralegal, representing the intellectual property interests of Fortune 500 companies in the computer industry.

Ms. Tracy is a member of the California Bar, the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Litigation section), and American Inns of Court.
