Sedgwick Elevates Four Women to Partner
January 2011
The firm welcomed Katherine Binns, Jennifer Quinn Broda, Amber Rye Brumfiel, and Dana McElroy to the firm’s partnership on January 1, 2011. Currently, more than one-fourth of Sedgwick’s partners are women partners who, like all of the firm’s partners, provide outstanding service to clients throughout the United States and around the globe.
“Our new partners are exceptional litigators and continue the firm’s legacy of excellence in the courtroom that was established more than 75 years ago by our founders,” said Sedgwick Chair Michael Tanenbaum. “The fact our new partners are women should come as no surprise to anyone who knows Sedgwick. We place great importance on diversity within our firm and have established programs like our Women’s Forum to recruit and advance our talented women attorneys.”
Established in 2004, Sedgwick’s Women’s Forum has revolutionized the way gender is addressed at the firm and within the legal profession. Since its inception, the training and client and community programs advanced by the Women’s Forum have been nationally recognized for innovation and successfully addressing the obstacles professional women face.
