Sedgwick Ft. Lauderdale Welcomes Alfred C. Warrington, V

February 2011

Sedgwick is pleased to announce that partner Alfred C. Warrington, V has joined the firm's Fort Lauderdale office.  He concentrates his practice in insurance. He has over 24 years experience providing coverage, claims, and litigation assistance to United States and London market insurers.

 

Mr. Warrington serves as national coverage counsel for a major US marine insurer, and has twice been seconded to London to assist UK and European insurers and reinsurers with claims in the United States. He has written and lectured on insurance topics in the United States and England.

 

Principal classes of business include Hull and Marine Liabilities, Cargo, Inland Marine (Construction, Transportation, Logistics, Related Property, etc.), and Pollution.

 

Mr. Warrington is admitted in Florida, and to appear before the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, and before the U.S. District Courts (S.D. and M.D. Fla.).  He obtained his M.A. (1999) from King's College London. He holds a J.D. (1985) from the University of Florida, and received his B.S.B.A. (1982) from the University of Florida.
