Los Angeles partner Wendy Tucker was recognized by Public Counsel at the organization’s annual Pro Bono Awards for her work with the Center for Veterans Advancement (CVA). Tucker has been instrumental in helping veterans suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury, combat-related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and the horrors of military-rape. Through Wendy's efforts, thousands of dollars have been procured for injured veterans. At the July 24, 2012 ceremony Public Counsel acknowledged Tucker’s contributions:
