Two New York Partners Named Among The Best Lawyers in America

Two partners in Sedgwick's New York office, David M. Covey and Eric M. Kraus, have been named in The Best Lawyers in America, a published volume of preeminent lawyers selected through a confidential, nationwide survey of thousands of leading attorneys. The New York-area lawyers in this year's list, including Covey and Kraus, will appear in an August 2005 double issue of New York magazine. According to Woodward/White, publishers of The Best Lawyers in America, Best Lawyer lists have been highlighted in over 50 top publications in the last two years, and the national roster serves as an attorney referral resource subscribed to by over 4,000 law firms and more than 1,000 top corporations.
David M. Covey, a prominent litigation and trial attorney, has successfully handled a wide variety of cases including mass torts, class actions, product liability, professional liability and commercial matters. Eric M. Kraus, a leading trial attorney, concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation matters with an emphasis on pharmaceutical product and medical device liability.
