Chicago Office Expands With Addition of Three Special Counsel to Lead Surety, Government Relations, and Employment Practices

Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP is pleased to announce that three attorneys have joined its Chicago office as Special Counsel: Audrey A. Berish, Oran F. Whiting and David B. Goodman.
Audrey A. Berish brings more than 14 years of experience in the management and litigation of complex surety and fidelity claims, and comes to Sedgwick from Kemper Surety, where she was Senior Surety Counsel. Ms. Berish will head Sedgwick's Surety and Fidelity Practice Groups for the Chicago office.
Oran F. Whiting, formerly a partner at Chicago's Freeborn & Peters, will continue to focus his practice on government relations, regulatory matters, healthcare, and commercial and products liability litigation. Mr. Whiting's 18 years of legal experience includes his tenures as Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives, Commissioner for the Illinois Court of Claims, and Interim General Counsel for Chicago's Mercy Hospital.
David B. Goodman, formerly a partner at Chicago's Arnstein & Lehr, will continue to focus his practice on employment litigation and counseling, healthcare, commercial litigation and trade secret litigation. Mr. Goodman has extensive first chair trial experience and has tried employment, commercial, and tort cases in federal and state courts throughout the country.
