Sedgwick Elevates Five Attorneys to Partnership
Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP is pleased to announce the elevation of five attorneys to partnership, effective January 1, 2007.
Lawyers elected to partnership include Dawn Shawger in the firm's Dallas office; Kevin Costello in the firm's Los Angeles office; Joe Gebara in the firm's Orange County office; Martin Healy in the firm's Newark office; and Dennis Rolstad in the firm's San Francisco office.
Dawn Shawger, also in the Dallas office, is a member of the firm’s Mass Tort and Complex Litigation Group, where she focuses on products liability and pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. She has extensive experience representing clients in the areas of healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, mass tort litigation, commercial litigation, business litigation and catastrophic injury and wrongful death.
In the firm's Los Angeles office, Kevin Costello, a member of the firm’s Mass Torts and Complex Litigation Practice Group, specializes in products liability, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, commercial litigation, medical malpractice and general/premises liability cases. His extensive practice in federal and state courts includes individual cases, class actions and other statutory representative claims, multidistrict litigation (MDL) and California coordinated proceedings (JCCP).
In the firm's Newark office, Martin Healy focuses his practice on products liability; pharmaceutical and medical device liability; toxic tort; mass tort, class action and multidistrict litigation; and general litigation. At Sedgwick, Mr. Healy has managed national litigation for global pharmaceutical and engineering companies.
Located in the firm's Orange County office, Joe Gebara is a member of the firm’s Insurance Practice Group. His practice emphasizes representation of insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation, professional liability defense, and other civil litigation. Mr. Gebara has substantial litigation experience in a variety of insurance lines, including commercial property, commercial general liability, errors and omissions, excess and reinsurance, life insurance, homeowners and automobile policies.
Dennis Rolstad, also a resident of the firm's San Francisco office, is a member of the firm's Insurance Practice Group, where he focuses on the representation and counseling of insurers in coverage, bad faith and ERISA actions, particularly in the arenas of life, health and disability law.
