Press Release - Sedgwick Continues to Provide Leadership Within the American Bar Association

Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP announced that Dallas attorney Brian Calhoun was appointed to a one-year term as membership vice-chair for the Media, Privacy & Defamation Law Committee, one of the General Committees of Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) of the American Bar Association.
"As membership vice-chair, I hope to help TIPS grow its already diverse and large membership, I will enhance the group's ability to significantly impact the media, privacy and defamation law community," said Calhoun. "I am thrilled to take on a leadership role at TIPS so that I may contribute to the continued development of my profession."

Based in the firm's Dallas office, Calhoun specializes in complex commercial and business litigation throughout Texas and California. Calhoun also handles litigation surrounding mass tort, First Amendment, copyright and trademark matters. He earned his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law, magna cum laude, and his B.A. from Vanderbilt University. Calhoun was awarded the "Best Lawyers Under 40 in Dallas" by D Magazine (2006).
