Litigation Matters
Mr. Mroz's experience includes the defense of CERCLA, RCRA, Porter-Cologne Water Quality Act, and common law nuisance and trespass actions; the defense of environmental engineering firms in a series of landfill design and construction matters; landfill nuisance and trespass cases; and toxic tort actions involving industrial chemicals. He has also represented developers, general contractors and subcontractors in construction and environmental law-related matters. He has successfully tried product liability and general liability cases.
Mr. Mroz has represented clients in ongoing environmental compliance and regulatory matters before the California EPA, Department of Toxic Substances Control and various Regional Water Quality Control Boards, including the North Coast Region, San Francisco Bay Area Region and Central Valley Region.

Mr. Mroz is a member of the litigation section of the American Bar Association and the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of California.
While in law school, he served as comments editor on the University of San Francisco Law Review (1982, 1983).
