Biography
Andrew C. Harris concentrates his practice on the representation of contractors, subcontractors, developers and owners in all phases of the construction process, including contract disputes, delay, interruption, inefficiency, construction claims and payment disputes, as well as transactional matters such as contract preparation, negotiation and review. Mr. Harris also represents the interests of sureties arising out of defaults and bad claims on public-works and private construction projects. Prior to joining Sedgwick, Mr. Harris’ practice focused on contract negotiations, lien claims, and construction defect litigation.
Andrew C. Memberships & Honors
Mr. Harris is admitted to practice in the states of California and Nevada, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the Southern District of California, and the Northern District of California along with the United States Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Harris is also a member of the California State Bar, the Nevada State Bar, the American Bar Association Forum of the Construction Industry and TIPS.
While attending law school, Mr. Harris served as an articles editor for the inaugural editions of the University of Virginia Sports and Entertainment Law Journal.
