Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey, Inc. Chooses Stephen Kim As Secretary

Members of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey, Inc. (APALA/NJ) have chosen Sedgwick attorney Stephen Kim to serve as the association's secretary. Founded in 1985, APALA/NJ is New Jersey's largest and most established Pan-Asian bar association. It educates members and the community about issues of critical concern to all Americans and the Asian-American community and as well provides professional development, networking and avenues of growth for Asian-Americans in the legal profession.
Mr. Kim assists clients with domestic and cross border corporate/commercial and technology transactions. In addition to his time working with APALA/NJ, he is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Asian American Bar Association of New York, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and is a member of the board of directors of Dress for Success Mercer County, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Mr Kim also earned the 2008 Empire State Counsel designation, an honor presented by the New York State Bar Association for providing pro bono legal services to disadvantaged individuals and organizations directly assisting the underprivileged.
