Bribery Act to Come Into Force on 1 July 2011

Investigations and prosecutions under the Bribery Act 2010 (Act) could potentially trigger the defence costs coverage provided under many types of insurance policy, in particular directors and officers liability insurance.
After a long delay, the Ministry of Justice announced on 30 March 2011 that the Act will finally come into force on 1 July 2011.
