Biography
Dina Richman concentrates her practice in the healthcare field, primarily representing health plans, managed care organizations, provider groups, and other healthcare professionals. She is well-versed in healthcare issues pertaining to, inter alia, managed care, utilization review, reimbursement, bad faith, physician billing practices, Medicare preemption, premium disputes, and claims brought against medical groups and health plans for alleged negligent care. Ms. Richman also has experience in employment, premises liability, property insurance, professional liability, and business litigation.

Affiliations, Activities and Accomplishments
Ms. Richman is a member of the American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
She serves on the board of directors of the Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center, a nonprofit organization that provides services to thousands of children and adults with developmental disabilities in the greater Los Angeles area. She previously served on the Associates Board of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. Ms. Richman was a member of the Anti-Defamation League’s 2009 Glass Leadership Institute, an organization committed to fighting anti-semitism, bigotry, and extremism all over the world.
While attending law school, Ms. Richman served as a judicial extern to Justice Miriam Vogel of the California Court of Appeal. She served on the editorial board of the UCLA Journal of Sexual Orientation Law (the Dukeminier Awards), the executive board of the Animal Law Society, and participated in moot court while obtaining her law degree. As an undergraduate, she received the Harry J. Carroll Memorial Prize in Ancient Greek and remains a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Ms. Richman is proficient in ancient Greek and classical Hebrew, and is the co-captain of Sedgwick’s softball team.
