Sedgwick’s Fort Lauderdale office was established in January 2009 by acquiring leading Florida law firm Gordon, Hargrove and James, P.A. This office expanded our national presence into the Southeast.
The acquisition strengthens Sedgwick’s already renowned expertise in areas such as product liability, intellectual property, commercial, media and class action, as well as adding areas such as railroad law to our offerings. Our clients include national and international Fortune 500 companies, individuals and charities.
The firm will remain in its current office, located at 2400 E. Commercial Blvd., Suite 1100, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Upon exiting the Fort Lauderdale airport follow signs to North US 1. Take US1 north for 9.5 miles. The office is in a 12 story building on the southeast corner of US1 and Commercial Boulevard. Enter the parking garage on the right just before reaching Commercial Boulevard.
From Miami International Airport
About 46 mins. Head west on Miami Int'l Airport. Take a slight left toward NW 21st St. Take a slight right at NW 21st St. Take the ramp to SR-112 E. Keep left at the fork to continue toward SR-112 E. Keep left at the fork to continue toward SR-112 E and merge onto SR-112 E (Partial toll road). Take the I-95 S exit toward Orlando. Merge onto I-95 N. Take exit 32 for State Hwy 870/Commercial Blvd. Turn right at NW 50th St/W Commercial Blvd/SR-870. Continue to follow W Commercial Blvd/SR-870. 2400 E. Commercial Blvd will be on the right.
