Sedgwick's Christopher Novak and Martin Eide were among the speakers at a seminar on Hydraulic Fracturing hosted by Ironshore Inc., at the Fairmont Hamilton Hotel in Hamilton, Bermuda.
Energy and environmental groups have increasingly focused their attention on the risks and rewards of developing the nation’s natural gas reserves through hydraulic fracturing (or “fracking”) of our vast domestic shale gas reserves. The fracking process has become much scrutinized in the press and is a target of plaintiffs 'attorneys nationwide. This seminar offered an in-depth look at the Bermuda market and how Hydraulic Fracking has already begun to make its impact.
