Biography
Jamison R. Narbaitz is a member of the Insurance Coverage practice group and the Commercial Practices group, where he specializes in professional liability insurance coverage litigation, including directors & officers (D&O) insurance, errors & omissions (E&O) insurance, and employment practices liability (EPL) insurance. Mr. Narbaitz has extensive experience advising and defending insurers on issues involving both commercial and personal lines of property & casualty insurance, including extra-contractual liability issues. He has also represented managed care organizations in payor-provider disputes. Mr. Narbaitz volunteered as pro bono counsel in a successful guardianship matter through Legal Services for Children.

Memberships & Honors
Mr. Narbaitz is a member of the San Francisco County Bar Association, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada.
In October – November 2008, Mr. Narbaitz served as a special deputy D.A. for the Marin County District Attorney’s Office. During this period, he handled five jury trials, all of which successfully resulted in convictions.
While attending law school, he was editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Law & Medicine and served as a legislative extern to the Honorable Patricia D. Jehlen of the Massachusetts State House of Representatives.
