Biography
Jason McNerlin’s practice is focused on UK and international insurance and reinsurance disputes, particularly involving product recall, guarantee and liability insurances, as well as first party and third party liability energy, property and casualty risks. Mr McNerlin has drafted numerous policies for products insurers.
Mr McNerlin advises London Market and New York insurers in a range of liability cases. He is currently advising CGL insurers in relation to an English High Court action concerning industrial fire damage and consequential loss estimated at over £100m. He advised the excess insurers of Bedfordshire Police Authority in the Yarl’s Wood riot damage claim, and recently advised London Market insurers in relation to international automotive recalls involving Renault and Nissan.
Mr McNerlin also advises producers, suppliers and insurers on product regulation and compliance, and crisis management, and acts on their behalf in commercial disputes.
