Biography

Jenna Buda Farrell, an insurance coverage specialist, represents insurers and reinsurers located worldwide with respect to their North American risk exposures. Her practice includes counseling clients on liability coverage for managed care, medical malpractice, long term care facilities, and general liability. Ms. Buda Farrell’s services include claims administration, claims audits, risk and claims management consulting, high-exposure case management, coverage opinions and policy drafting.

Prior to joining Sedgwick, Ms. Buda Farrell was an associate at an insurance defense litigation firm where she litigated medical malpractice and long-term care liability claims, both at arbitration and trial.

She is a member of the American, Illinois and Chicago Bar Associations as well as the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. 

While attending law school, Ms. Buda Farrell was notes and comments co-editor for the DePaul University College of Law's Health Law Journal.
