San Francisco Partner Fred Baker's California Supreme Court victory on behalf of Foster Wheeler was the subject of the Daily Journal article "Ruling Discourages Forum Shopping" and in the Metropolitan News Article "Supreme Court Tosses Ruling Favoring Plaintiff in Asbestos Suit," available here. Mr. Baker is the co-chair of Sedgwick's Appellate Practice Group. He has briefed and argued cases involving a wide variety of issues before the Supreme Court of California and every district of the California Court of Appeal, as well as numerous federal circuit courts of appeals.
