Biography

During her 24 years in professional services marketing, Ms. Flynn has specialized in building and managing the business development and marketing programs of major law and accounting firms nationwide. She has significant experience in the areas of general management, strategic planning, brand management, sales and marketing. 

Prior to joining Sedgwick, Ms. Flynn founded, and for nine years, managed Marketing Visions, a full-service marketing and public relations firm serving the professional services sector. In this capacity she had the opportunity to work with law and accounting firms of all sizes, which were both regional and national in scope, and for this work the agency earned professional recognition and awards for their marketing and promotional campaigns. For nearly a year each, she also managed the marketing departments of two major California based law firms, Littler Mendelson LLP, and Fenwick & West LLP.  Her career includes in-house experience as marketing director at Cooley Godward, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Coopers & Lybrand.

Memberships & Honors

Ms. Flynn is past president and an active member of the Bay Area Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association, and Past President of the Oakland/East Bay Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

Ms. Flynn holds the distinction of being honored with the Legal Marketing Association's "Rella Lossy Professional Achievement Award," which recognizes her career-long contributions to the profession. 

Immediately before joining Sedgwick, Ms. Flynn, her husband and son completed a two year sabbatical aboard their sailboat in which they visited the West and East Coasts of the US, Mexico and Central and South America.
