Mr. O’Leary has been an event speaker on the topic of professional liability insurance matters for both the Bar Association of San Francisco and the American Bar Association’s Fidelity and Surety Law Committee.
He served as editor of the 2007 Directors & Officers Liability Insurance Deskbook. Originally published in 1998, this second volume discusses existing issues, as well as current topics and cases that reflect the dramatic legal changes over the past several years.

Mr. O'Leary is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). He has served on the Northern California Chapter Steering Committee.
Upon graduation from law school, he clerked for the late Honorable Calvin K. Ashland, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California and member of the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.
