Biography
Matthew G. Stein focuses his practice in the areas of products liability, complex litigation, general liability and entertainment litigation. As an active trial attorney, Mr. Stein has experience in tort, contract and business litigation. He represents clients in a wide range of matters, including insurance, entertainment, corporate, construction and regulatory matters, with extensive experience drafting pleadings, motions and discovery documents in connection with state, federal and appellate cases. Mr. Stein has mediated complex cases, conducted oral arguments, and taken and defended numerous client and expert depositions.

Mr. Stein has mediated complex cases, conducted oral arguments, and taken and defended numerous client and expert depositions.
Mr. Stein is experienced negotiating a wide variety of entertainment-related agreements, including recording contracts, licensing agreements and product endorsement contracts. His experience also includes registering copyrights and trademarks, as well as defending large and small businesses accused of infringing competitors’ trademark and trade dress claims.

Affiliations, Activities and Accomplishments
Mr. Stein is a member of the Los Angeles Bar Association and the Long Beach Bar Association. He is the Vice-President of Hollywood United Football Club. While attending Southwestern University School of Law, Mr. Stein served as President of the Student Bar Association and was also recognized as a Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. He also was a member of the Interscholastic Trial Advocacy Honors Program, and University of Board of Directors Student Representatives. Stein played Division I collegiate soccer for the University of California, Irvine.
