Marie (Mimi) S. Dennis focuses her practice on product liability, professional malpractice, environmental and toxic torts, class action and commercial litigation. Ms. Dennis is part of a team defending major oil companies in national cases related to alleged groundwater contamination due to the use of methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), a gasoline additive. Ms. Dennis also works with corporate clients to advise them on chemical importing requirements and to provide counseling and recommendations for compliance with the Toxic Substances Control Act.

Ms. Dennis is admitted to practice in Maryland (2000) and the District of Columbia (2001), and before the U.S. District Court, District of Maryland, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Supreme Court.
She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, Maryland Bar Association and American Bar Association. She is a past co-chair of the Young Lawyers’ Forum of the Women’s Bar Association of Washington, D.C.
While in law school, Ms. Dennis was an editor of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review.
