Press Release - Partner to Join Prominent Legal Research and Education Institute

Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP announced that New York Partner Kenneth Rashbaum has been invited to join the prominent legal research and education institute: The Sedona Conference. In this capacity, he will be assigned to the Working Group that focuses on developing international electronic information management, discovery and disclosure. The Sedona Conference is a leading nonprofit organization that provides law and policy research, and educational programming in the areas of antitrust, complex litigation and intellectual property. Through its Working Group Series, prominent judges, attorneys, academics and other experts engage in dialogue and cutting-edge research resulting in published guidelines, best practices and policy papers.

Rashbaum, chair of Sedgwick's electronic discovery, data management & compliance practice, is resident in Sedgwick's New York office. Rashbaum counsels corporations on electronic document management, offshore outsourcing of data services, Sarbanes-Oxley, the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, and state and federal privacy laws. Rashbaum received his B.A., summa cum laude , from the State University of New York, College at New Paltz, and his J.D. was conferred by Hofstra University School of Law.
