Press Release - Orange County Attorney to Lead Trial His Alma Matter's Trial Program

Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP announced Orange County Attorney Robert Beggs is leading the Trial Practice/Mock Trial program at his alma mater: Chapman University School of law. Chapman Law is recognized as one of the region's best law schools, and has a comprehensive programs that produces excellent trial lawyers.  Chapman's Mock Trial students learn trial advocacy skills first-hand by preparing for and participating in an interscholastic trial competitions. Chapman has reached either the regional semifinal or final round of competition for the past three years. 

"I am honored to continue Chapman's tradition of exposing students to invaluable academic and real-world legal challenges," said Beggs. "Teaching also affords me the opportunity to test new theories and practices, which hones my own trial skills as well." 
 
While at Chapman, Beggs was president of the Mock Trial Board. Now resident in Sedgwick's Orange County office, he handles complex personal injury, premises liability, and wrongful death matters.
