Alan Vickery represents large pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers frequently handling complex litigation and serving as national, regional and state counsel in mass tort litigation.
Mr. Vickery’s recent experience includes serving as national counsel for pharmaceutical manufacturers in cases involving antidepressants, hormone replacement therapy and over the counter cough and cold medicine. As part of his experience representing pharmaceutical companies, Mr. Vickery has handled litigation concerning drugs involved in clinical trials. As Texas regional counsel, he has represented a manufacturer of a weight-loss medication and was involved in high profile medical device litigation. Mr. Vickery also handled the defense of thousands of cases on behalf of an asbestos manufacturer in Texas. In his role handling complex mass tort litigation, Mr. Vickery has been responsible for cases transferred to multi-district litigation (“MDL”) and has worked extensively with scientific and medical expert. Mr. Vickery was recently featured as a Life Science Star in LMG’s Life Sciences 2012’s inaugural issue.

Mr. Vickery is admitted to practice in Texas (1986), and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association and the Drug & Medical Device Committee of the Defense Research Institute.
