Press Release - Experienced Partners to Co-Chair Firm’s National Construction Practices Group

Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP announced that Los Angeles Partner Marilyn Klinger and San Francisco Partner Paul Lahaderne will co-chair the firm's Construction Practices Group. The group of nationally recognized attorneys represent the entire spectrum of construction projects and claims.

Klinger is involved in all aspects of construction law on a state and national level and represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, and sureties.  She handles matters involving time-related claims, contracts, payment enforcement, administrative and scope claims, and counseling and transactional services. Klinger received her B.S., cum laude, from the University of Santa Clara and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. 

Her co-chair, Lahaderne, represents developers, general contractors and specialty subcontractors in all aspects of construction-related litigation, including contract disputes, delay claims and construction defects claims relating to both residential and commercial construction. He also represents various manufacturers and suppliers of construction-related products in breach of warranty and product failure claims, as well as representation of design professionals such as architects and engineers against claims relating to professional negligence. He received his B.A. from the University of San Francisco.  He received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
