Sedgwick’s Houston Office Adds Three New Attorneys
July 2008
Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP announces that its Houston office, which opened in December 2006, has added three new attorneys: special counsel Joseph R. Larsen and associates Jacob A. De Leon and Collin G. Warren. Their addition expands the firm’s expertise to our clients in the areas of media, entertainment and sports law as well as commercial and insurance practices. Larsen, De Leon, and Warren join the already established Sedgwick team of attorneys in Houston that includes, Julie Adams, Carrie Weitinger, Shannon Thorne, and Monika Moore.
Larsen becomes a member of Sedgwick’s growing media, entertainment and sports law practice in Texas. In addition to his media expertise, Larsen also brings experience in business litigation and bankruptcy, which will complement the Houston office’s existing admiralty, construction, energy and insurance practices.
“The growth of our Houston office demonstrates the firm’s commitment to serving our clients in Texas and nationwide,” said Neil Rambin, managing partner of Sedgwick’s Texas offices. “Joe is a strong addition to our team of extremely talented attorneys. His wealth of media expertise will be a great benefit to the firm’s media clients.”
Larsen has extensive experience in all aspects of media representation including defamation, defending subpoenas and prior restraint matters as well as litigation counseling and access to government records and court proceedings. “We are thrilled with Joe’s addition to the Houston office,” said Sedgwick Houston partner Julia Adams. “As we continue to grow the Houston office, we are looking to talented and experienced attorneys such as Joe, Jacob and Collin to help us expand the services we are able to offer our clients.”
