Sedgwick Orange County Adds Partner & Special Counsel
Partner J. Craig Williams and Special Counsel Joseph R. McFaul Join Firm
ORANGE COUNTY, February 23, 2009 - Sedgwick Detert Moran & Arnold LLP has announced that J. Craig Williams and Joseph R. McFaul joined the firm’s Orange County office as partner and special counsel respectively. The attorneys were formerly of WLF | The Williams Lindberg Law Firm, PC, a boutique law firm located in Newport Beach, California.

J. Craig Williams handles complex business litigation with an emphasis on environmental, intellectual property, real estate, technology law and labor matters, and their respective insurance coverage and related tort issues. He is a member of many professional organizations and serves on several boards, including the Avvo.com advisory board, Law Technology News editorial board, and Bighorn Institute board of directors. An accomplished speaker, Williams has lectured as an adjunct professor at the Stanford Law School, Chapman University School of Law, the University of California, Irvine, and the University of Iowa College of Law. His book How to Get Sued, will soon be followed by his second hardcover, Bad Decisions?, due to arrive in the fall of 2009. Williams received his B.S. from James Madison University, and his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Joseph McFaul focuses his practice in real estate, admiralty, complex business litigation and environmental matters. In addition, he has extensive experience in construction litigation, representation of professionals before regulatory agencies, and wrongful termination matters. He also is a former panel arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Long Beach. McFaul received his B.S. from the United States Coast Guard Academy, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Seattle University.
