Bermuda Law Firm Sedgwick Chudleigh Moves

Hamilton, Bermuda, March 1, 2010 - Sedgwick Chudleigh announces that on March 15, 2010, the firm will move to larger office space to accommodate its attorneys. Sedgwick Chudleigh was established in April 2006 by Bermudian barrister and attorney Mark Chudleigh to offer clients in-depth knowledge and expertise in all aspects of insurance and reinsurance law. The bedrock of the practice is dispute resolution and insurance/reinsurance coverage, including contract drafting and general advisory/regulatory work.  In addition, the firm represents clients in general commercial disputes and employment law matters.

“We are very excited to celebrate the continued growth and success of Sedgwick Chudleigh by moving into a larger office space,” said Office Managing Partner Mark Chudleigh. “This move is part of our strategic plan to meet the sophisticated needs of our clients by combining local Bermuda expertise with multinational legal prowess.”

Sedgwick Chudleigh will move to the historic E.W. Pearman Building at 20 Brunswick St. in Hamilton.  Built in 1816 by famous Bermuda silversmith George Hutchings, the E.W. Pearman Building was converted to office space in 1981 and recently renovated in anticipation of the move by Sedgwick Chudleigh’s attorneys.

Sedgwick Chudleigh is the associated Bermuda office of the international law firm Sedgwick Detert Moran and Arnold LLP.  Although directly and closely affiliated, Sedgwick Chudleigh is an independent law firm based in Hamilton, Bermuda and is regulated under the Bermuda Bar Act 1974.  For more information about Sedgwick Chudleigh, visit www.sedgwick-chudleigh.com.
