Sedgwick Names New Partners for 2012
Six Attorneys From Product Liability and Insurance Practices Elevated
SAN FRANCISCO, December 1, 2011 – Sedgwick LLP will welcome Alison Beanum, Nicholas Boos, Travis Gamble, John Gherini, Christopher Losquadro and Jessika Moon to the firm’s partnership effective January 1, 2012. The elevation of the six litigators from its New York, Texas and California offices demonstrates the firm’s commitment to trial and litigation services.

Beanum (Los Angeles) is a trial attorney, representing chemical and equipment manufacturers in complex, multi-party toxic tort litigation. She is particularly knowledgeable in cases involving allegations of exposure to asbestos, benzene and diacetyl. She earned her J.D. (2002) from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and her B.A. (1999) from the University of California at Irvine.
Boos (San Francisco) is a member of Sedgwick’s Insurance Practices Group, and represents insurers in first- and third-party coverage and bad faith litigation. His practice covers a variety of policy types, including commercial general liability, commercial property, homeowners, disability and life. He received his J.D. (2004) from the University of San Francisco School of Law and his B.A. (2001) from the University of California at Berkeley.
Gamble (Dallas) primarily concentrates his trial practice in the areas of complex civil litigation with an emphasis in personal injury, product liability, construction and traffic control litigation, motor carrier and premises liability cases. He also represents product manufacturers, highway construction contractors, medical care providers and other businesses in a wide variety of litigation matters. He received his J.D. (1997) from Baylor University School of Law and his B.B.A. (1992) from Baylor University.
Gherini (San Francisco) is a member of Sedgwick’s Mass Tort and Complex Litigation practice group. He focuses his practice on product liability and toxic tort litigation, including the defense of claims involving consumer products, automobiles, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He earned his J.D. (2002) from the University of San Francisco School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, (1999) from the University of California at San Diego.
Losquadro (New York) has extensive experience representing domestic and foreign insurers and reinsurers in the investigation and litigation of commercial and other claims. His practice includes handling matters in connection with financial institution and commercial crime bonds as well as with policies covering professional indemnity, directors and officers liability, and property. Losquadro earned his J.D. (1995) from Villanova University School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, (1991) from Boston University.
Moon (New York) advises domestic and foreign insurers on complex insurance coverage issues, and represents insurers in insurance coverage litigation in state and federal courts. Her practice includes matters involving property and casualty, professional liability and aerospace policies. Moon earned her J.D. (1999) from Boston University School of Law and her B.S. (1996) from Georgetown University.
