Pro Bono Starting Point

Spring 2008

Attending the Public Counsel’s awards presentation to its pro bono attorneys of the year, including our own Sheryl Rosenberg, provided renewed inspiration and focus. Each award recipient profusely thanked Public Counsel for the opportunity to represent its clients. Each recipient spoke about how working on pro bono cases provides a great sense of satisfaction and direction. Many commented about how their pro bono work reminded them of why they became attorneys in the first place. There are a wealth of pro bono opportunities available and an abundance of the underrepresented that need your assistance. So join us by participating in our pro bono opportunities. Your efforts add to the success of our program — and, most importantly, make a difference in the lives of others.
