Sedgwick favorably settled a sexual harassment lawsuit against our client, a national restaurant chain, filed in Texas state court by a former employee. Plaintiff alleged a sexual harassment hostile environment and constructive discharge, and also brought a claim against our client's restaurant manager for tortious interference with contract. After Sedgwick uncovered facts through various depositions and other discovery refuting plaintiff's damages and claims, plaintiff had no choice but to resolve the lawsuit for a nominal amount.
