Plaintiff v. County
Sedgwick obtained a dismissal for our client, a sheriff’s department, in an action before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Plaintiff, a former employee, alleged racial discrimination and asserted he was fired in retaliation for filing a racial harassment complaint months earlier. Sedgwick responded to the EEOC’s charge of discrimination. Based on the information from Sedgwick, the EEOC dismissed the charge.
