Sedgwick obtained a no-cost dismissal on behalf of our client, a major insurer, in Cook County, Illinois. The plaintiff, a large national construction company, sought additional insured coverage for an underlying bodily injury lawsuit. Sedgwick filed a successful motion to dismiss the complaint to enforce a choice of law and forum clause in the subject insurance policy mandating that all litigation take place in New York state.
