Sanchez v. Stryker Corporation

Sedgwick obtained summary judgment for our client, a medical product company, in this product liability action filed in federal court in California. The plaintiff alleged that multiple regulatory violations on the part of our client resulted in a product the FDA had recalled that was mislabeled as sterile when in fact it was not properly sterilized.  The plaintiff failed to timely disclose experts, and our team obtained summary judgment.  The plaintiff's motion for relief was denied and the matter has been appealed to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
