San Francisco Partner Elected to ESOP Association's Board of Directors Posted on Association's Blog

Karen Ng’s election to the ESOP Association's board of directors was posted to the association's blog. The ESOP Association, founded in 1978, is a national non-profit membership organization, with 18 local Chapters, serving approximately 2,500 employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) companies, professionals with a commitment to ESOPs, and companies considering the implementation of an ESOP. The Association is the only association devoted solely to ESOPs.
Ms. Ng is a partner in Sedgwick’s San Francisco office, where she heads up the firm’s Employee Benefits practice. Ms. Ng concentrates her practice in the areas of ERISA and employee benefits, with an emphasis on employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). She has extensive experience with the design, implementation and administration of ESOPs, pension plans, profit sharing plans and 401(k) plans. In addition, Ms. Ng advises clients with respect to the structuring of ESOP transactions involving both closely-held and publicly-traded companies.
