On Monday, June 11, 2012, Sedgwick New York associate Ryan Chapoteau attended the Lilac Ball, the annual fundraiser for Prep for Prep, an educational, leadership development program that prepares and places New York City’s most able students of color into independent schools and provides them with ongoing support for professional advancement. The Ball, which was held at the Waldorf-Astoria, raised $3 million towards Prep’s many programs.
This year, the New York Diversity Committee has been partnering with Prep for Prep to further develop the Firm’s pipeline initiatives to encourage diverse high school and college students to consider careers in the legal profession.
