Sedgwick Partner Named Editor of California Real Property Journal

Randall Block, a partner in Sedgwick’s San Francisco office and a member of the Commercial Practices Group, has been elected to serve as an editor for the California Real Property Journal. The Journal is the official publication of the State Bar of California’s Real Property Law Section. It is published quarterly and is written and edited by real property practitioners throughout California.
In addition to his duties as editor of the Journal, Block edits Sedgwick’s Real Estate Newsletter, a monthly publication focusing on current real estate issues. Outside of his editorial duties, Block co-chairs the firm’s Pro Bono Committee, has a longstanding relationship with Legal Services for Children, a San Francisco Bay Area pro bono organization, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the East Bay Agency for Children.
The Real Property Law Section is the third largest of the California State Bar sections. Organized in 1979, the section coordinates educational programs and literature for California's diverse real estate attorneys, and serves as a forum for communicating information to its members on current developments and trends in real property law.
