Sigrid Irías Elected President of San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association

Sedgwick attorney Sigrid Irías has been elected incoming president of nonprofit San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association (SFLRLA). Founded in 1971, SFLRLA has been a resource for and advocate for the Bay Area’s Latino/a community for 40 years. Its tradition of service includes a mentorship program for young lawyers and law students, and annual awards of fellowships for deserving law students working at legal nonprofit organizations serving underrepresented communities. Sigrid has previously served SFLRLA on its board of directors, and via the association’s standing committees. She will serve as the organization’s president for 2012.
