The East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC) Selects Sedgwick Partner Randall Block as President-elect of its Board of Directors

The East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC) selected Sedgwick Partner Randall Block as its President-elect of its Board of Directors. Mr. Block has been a lifelong advocate of pro bono work. He co-chairs Sedgwick’s pro bono program, and coordinates the pro bono projects for Sedgwick’s San Francisco office. EBAC provides mental health and social services in an array of innovative programs for children in the East Bay from age 2 to age 20. EBAC's programs include the Therapeutic Nursery School, the Circle of Care, and Probation Assistance, among others. By helping individual children in need largely in school-based settings, EBAC is able to leverage its scarce resources to assist the community at large.
Mr. Block represents businesses in commercial, real estate, and insurance coverage and bad faith disputes. He has successfully prosecuted and defended significant cases, and represented clients in state and federal courts from California to Delaware. His practice includes arbitration, mediation and workout of disputes, in addition to more traditional litigation.
